The West Texas CrossRoads Marathon will be the
first full-fledged 26.2 mile marathon race held in West
Texas, with shorter routes available, as well as a kid's
race, so that everyone can participate. This world-class
event will promote physical health and fitness, as well as
encourage spiritual growth for all participants. This race
will benefit local charities including Special Olympics
Texas, Odessa Homeless Coalition, and
Encounter Ministries.
As a sanctioned Boston Marathon
qualifying race, The West Texas CrossRoads Marathon will
have national significance. The course is flat...and very,
very fast! Finish line photos, finisher medals, t-shirts,
and awards for top finishers will make for a complete
marathon experience. So come join us for the full marathon,
half-marathon, 5K, and kid's run. By the way...on Friday
night before the race, you can experience the real "Friday
Night Lights" in Odessa and Midland. The
Permian Panthers
play the cross-town rival
Odessa Bronchos; and
Midland Lee
will see action against
Amarillo
Tascosa. |
